Alion taps new chief growth officer

Alion Science and Technology has named Gerry Decker chief growth officer.

In his new role, Decker will lead corporate strategy to drive revenue growth. He will also be engaged in bringing the company into non-traditional markets for its services, while also helping with new technology initiatives to expand the company’s range of solutions, the company said.

Decker joins the company after having served in roles such as president, chief operating officer and senior vice president of business development at a number of companies, including DynCorp, CSC, McNeil Technologies and AECOM.
