Serco, SAIC share Navy contract

Serco and SAIC have each won contracts to support the Navy under a pair of $17 million contracts for a variety of services.

Serco Inc. and Science Applications International Corp. have each won contracts to support the Navy with a variety of services.

Serco’s contract is worth $17.96 million and SAIC’s contract is worth $17.1 million. The two companies will compete for task orders to provide services such as production management and transition support, integration and fabrication support, systems and component procurement support and network integration engineering facility product support.

The work includes supporting product and material management and execution processes to install integration systems on shore and aboard ships.

Work will be performed in San Diego. The contract expires Oct. 25, 2016.

Serco and SAIC were the only bidders for the contract, which was let by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.
