Lockheed Martin is facing a challenge from Leidos over a multi-million dollar National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency contract.
Known as the eXploit Program, the contract is designed to help transform how geospatial intelligence data is used through an online suite of web-based applications and services, according to NGA procurement documents. The contract is worth somewhere between $30 million and $100 million.
The apps will need to integrate into NGA’s enterprise architecture.
“This Program will enable users to perform most aspects of NGA’s Mission, while continuously working to support the evolving tradecraft, business needs and Strategic direction of the [intelligence community],” the RFI states.
Lockheed Martin won the contract, but Leidos is questioning the evaluation ratings and argues that it should have been selected over Lockheed.
The protest was filed with the Government Accountability Office on Oct. 19 and a decision is expected by Jan. 27.
