Rumors surfacing around potential CSC split

Several reports are predicting that Computer Sciences Corp. will separate its government business from its commercial information technology division.

Rumors have increasingly arisen about the company being sold or splitting into two entities, but there has been no official announcement.

Though CSC declined to comment, news of the split could come as early as May 19, when the company announces its fiscal 2015 earnings.

The company has a market value of approximately $9.5 billion.
