Parsons taps new head of defense business

Parsons has named Kurt Tripp senior vice president to manage the company’s Defense Division.

In his new role, Tripp will be responsible for growing and executing the company’s defense business.

Tripp was most recently Parsons’ Defense and Security Sector Manager where he was responsible for programs related to the Missile Defense Agency, Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, NSA, NRO and the Office of Naval Research, the company said in a release.

He joined the company through the acquisition of SPARTA Inc. in 2011.
