ICF makes $295M acquisition of marketing firm
ICF International has made a $295 million acquisition of a digital marketing firm in a move that builds on three other previous acquisitions.
ICF International has acquired Olson in a $295 million deal that expands ICF’s growing digital marketing capabilities across all markets.
Owned until now by KRG Capital Partners, Olson had revenues of $126 million in fiscal 2013, and the company is on a fast track to continued growth as the 2014 calendar year comes to a close, ICF International said in a release.
The deal will allow ICF to drive multi-channel marketing initiatives across web, mobile, email, social, print, broadcast and off-premise platforms, and will also bring Olson’s clients to ICF, which exist in a range of markets including health, energy and transportation, ICF said.
The Olson acquisition will build on other acquisitions that ICF has made, including Ironworks, CITYTECH, and Mostra, ICF said, allowing the company to become a full-service digital marketing solutions provider that can provide both its commercial and government customers with the ability to reach their optimal audiences.
Olson brings with it 545 employees. The deal is expected to close in mid-November 2014.
