Army wants input on potential $185M asymmetric warfare contract

The Army wants feedback from small businesses about a potential $185 million contract for its Training and Doctrine Command Asymmetric Warfare Group.

The work would include support in the areas of intelligence, operations and training, and resource and information management. Work would also include conducting trend analysis, prepare predictive models for supported organizations, and support operations and intelligence analysis.

A contract would include work with several squadrons, such as the Operations Squadron, Training, Advisor, and Assessment Squadron, and the Concepts Integration Squadron.

The Asymmetric Warfare Group provides observation, analysis, training, and advisory support to Army and Joint Force units to improve their ability to predict, counter, and defeat asymmetric threats and methods.

The Army released the source sought to gain knowledge on interest, technical capability, and financial capacity of small businesses.

The Army estimates the contract’s estimated value to be between $135 million and $185 million.

The Army released the sources sought notice Oct. 20. Responses are due by Nov. 5.
