Leidos wins $46M task order to combat weapons of mass destruction

Leidos has won a $46 million task order to develop a modeling methodology and technology to combat weapons of mass destruction.

This is the second task order that Leidos has won with DTRA this week.

Under the contract, Leidos will develop, apply and transition technologies to find, characterize and assess weapons of mass destruction in support of combatant commands.

The company will develop and integrate sensor mission planning tools, develop analytical methodologies, models and tools for characterizing and assessing targets, develop methodologies and tools for assessing facility vulnerabilities and other technical work, the company said in a release.
