Northrop wins $20.2M contract to support Hunter UAV

Northrop Grumman has won a $20.2 million contract with the Army to support the Hunter unmanned aerial vehicle.

The Hunter UAV is deployed at various Army facilities in the United States and overseas. It is a long-endurance, medium altitude, multimission tactical unmanned aircraft system optimized to provide Army division and corps commanders with an ISR capability, according to Northrop Grumman's website.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide contractor logistic services.

Work will be performed in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed by March 30, 2015.
