BAE Systems wins $14M contract for dry-docking planned maintenance

BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair has won a $14 million contract to provide the Navy with dry-docking planned maintenance availability services.

Under the contract, BAE will provide planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations and modifications that will update and improve military and technical capabilities.

Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 2014.

Funding in the full amount of the contract is obligated at the time of the award.
