Parsons picks new VP of strategic development

Parsons has named Jay Watkins vice president of strategic development, where he will contribute to business development through the management of the company’s transportation strategy.

In his new role, Watkins will focus on key customer relationships throughout North America, Parsons said in a release.

Watkins formerly worked Parsons, but then spent seven years as CEO at a project and construction management company, Parsons said.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, and a master’s in public administration from Harvard University.
