GD wins $56M to continue Abrams tank support
General Dynamics has won a contract with the Army to continue logistic support of Iraqi M1A1 Abrams tanks.
General Dynamics Land Systems has won a $56 million contract modification with the U.S. Army to continue its support of Abrams tanks.
Under the contract, General Dynamics will continue providing logistics and base lifecycle support services in support of Iraqi M1A1 Abrams tanks.
Work will be performed with General Dynamics employees who are already in Iraq for 30 days, the company said in a release.
