SRA wins a slew of contracts to serve VA's health programs
SRA International has won a number of contracts with the Veterans Affairs Department to assist it with its health programs in areas such as customer relationship management, cloud computing and identity management.
SRA International has won a slew of contracts totaling $35 million in support of the Veterans Affairs Department’s health care programs.
The company will support the department in a number of ways:
SRA will deliver a customer relationship management web self-service solution that will provide user-focused, on-demand access to VA services and benefits for veterans. In addition, the company will develop web services that provide data services, messaging and Defense Department interoperability.
The company will provide a cloud computing environment to support the department’s health risk assessment new model of care, which collects information from patients through the use of structured questionnaires that are presented online through an interface available from the department’s Personal Health Record, the company said.
SRA also said that it will provide an improved online experience by implementing a remote identity proofing and credentialing solution to serve veterans, enabling identity and access management services to support single sign-on capabilities between an authenticated user and VA applications and external partners.
The company will also assist the VA’s Office of Information Technology, Product Development, Integrated Operating Model in its critical implementation and technical support for the VA Time and Attendance System, providing services like scheduling, data conversion, subject matter expert support and training.
Finally, SRA will manage and administer technology systems to the VA’s Spinal Cord Injury and Disorders Services organization, and will ensure that these systems’ 51 servers remain operational and available for physicians, nurses and therapists, the company said.
