BAE continues to anchor Navy’s worldwide C4ISR services
The three-year C4ISR task order calls for BAE to provide maintenance, upgrades, logistics, training and sustainment support to ships, boats and vehicles.
BAE Systems will provide command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technical services to the Navy worldwide under a task order that could be worth as much as $132 million.
The three-year C4ISR task order calls for BAE to provide maintenance, upgrades, logistics, training and sustainment support for various equipment, sensors and systems on military structures, vehicles, ships and small boats, a company announcement said.
The work will be conducted at government sites around the world and managed at BAE Systems offices in southern Maryland and Chesapeake, Va.
The award, from the Navy’s Special Communications Requirements Division, is a continuation of work BAE Systems has been performing for more than 25 years.
BAE Systems, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 17 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
