Air Force reinstates suspended contractors

Companies are removed from Excluded Parties List System after Air Force reviews their suspension.
A team of three contractors that were suspended by the Air Force have been reinstated and have been removed from the Excluded Parties List System.
In a statement, Advanced C4 Solutions said that the reinstatement occurred after the “government reviewed all the facts.”
The company led Superior Communications Solutions and Iron Bow Technologies in a project at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. The Air Force suspended the three, claiming they had left their work unfinished and were unwilling to provide source-code data to correct problems with the work.
“We have been consumed in getting this cleared up, so now it frees up our resources to continue to pursue the strong growth we had in the last quarter,” said Hugh Campbell, AC4S president and CEO.
The companies were suspended Oct. 24 and were reinstated Nov. 23.
AC4S Executive Vice President Norm Abdallah blamed the Air Force’s zeal to catch bad actors for the suspensions.
“The government sometimes casts a wide net and snares some good guys,” he said. “Fortunately, in this case, it has been identified and remedied in less than 30 days.”
