SAIC completes health IT acquisition
SAIC has completed acquisition of a firm that specializes in electronic health records.
Science Applications International Corp. of Vitalize Consulting Services Inc., a provider of clinical, business and IT services in the health care market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Most of VCS’ customers are in the hospital market and need help implanting electronic health records. The addition of VCS’ 600 employees expands SAIC’s commercial health care business.
