SRA, 4 others named to $480M VA contract

SRA International Inc. and four other contractors have been named to the Veterans Affairs Department’s $480 million Veterans Relationship Management program.

SRA International Inc. and four other contractors have been named to the Veterans Affairs Department’s $480 million Veterans Relationship Management (VRM) program.

Also included on the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract are Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services LLP and three service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses: Insignia Technologies LLC, VetsAmerica Business Consulting, Inc. and Veterans Enterprise Technology Solutions. Inc.

Under the contract, SRA will provide the VRM program with a comprehensive IT solution, including software, products and IT-related services to deal with the VA’s mission requirements.

The VRM program will deliver on-demand, self-service access to VA services and benefits in a consistent, user-focused manner, according to the Aug. 5 SRA announcement.

The program also will deliver the necessary improvements to internal business processes and knowledge sharing that will enable VA to provide a high-quality, consistent experience for veterans and their beneficiaries, the announcement added.

SRA International Inc., of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 29 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors. Hewlett-Pachard Co., of Palo Alto, Calif., ranks No. 7 on the list.
