Northrop’s Wes Bush adds board chairman to president, CEO titles
Northrop Grumman CEO and President Wes Bush has added chairman of the board to his titles following his election to the post by the company’s board.
Northrop Grumman CEO and President Wes Bush has added chairman of the board to his titles, effective immediately, following his election to the post by the company’s board of directors.
Bush has been CEO and president since Jan. 1, 2010. He was elected to the board in 2009.
He succeeds Lewis Coleman, who has served as non-executive chairman since January 2010.
The board designated Coleman to serve as its lead independent director, according to a July 20 Northrop Grumman statement.
Coleman, who joined the company's board of directors in 2001, is president and chief financial officer of DreamWorks Animation SKG. He was formerly chairman of Banc of America Securities LLC, a subsidiary of Bank of America Corp.
