Northrop's Bush pushes more US-UK cooperation
Greater cooperation will help fight cyber threats and improve the health of the industrial base.
Northrop Grumman’s CEO Wes Bush is advocating greater cooperation between U.S. and United Kingdom defense industries as a way to fight growing cyber threats and improving the health of the industrial base, according to Jane’s Defense & Security.
The U.S. and U.K. industrial bases should be treated as global resources and not be “managed as stove-piped systems,” Bush said at an International Institute for Strategic Studies conference in London.
The United States is reforming its export controls resulting in “higher walls around fewer things,” which will benefit interoperability among allies and help the U.S. defense base, he said.
