Who’s still in the hunt for VA’s $12B prize?

Since the announcement last week about the Veterans Affairs Department narrowing the field of contenders for its $12 billion IT modernization contract, one question has been coming into our inboxes and Twitter feed: Who made the cut on the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology program?

In its announcement about the T4 program, VA only said it was informing companies if they didn’t make the second round of the competition, but the department didn’t name names.

Thanks to a well-placed source, this is what we’ve learned so far:

Large companies making down-select:

• Kforce Government Solutions Inc.

• Merlin Technical Solutions.

Probably of equal interest is the list of companies that didn’t make the down-select:
