Dynamics Research Corp. will upgrade the Homeland Security Department’s IT through a four-year, $20 million contract.

The Andover, Mass., provider of management consulting, engineering and technology systems will support the enterprise architecture needs of DHS’ Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Awarded through the General Services Administration’s Alliant contract, the work will modernize DHS’ IT assets and architecture, providing for collaboration across divisions and centralizing the capture and management of enterprise knowledge, DRC said in an announcement today.

DRC will help improve the department's organizational performance and core business processes.

The work is designed to ensure that DHS’ investments are cost-effective and mission-focused and that its IT programs and assets maximize their return on investment, DRC said.
