CACI to help DOD fulfill budgeting requirements

CACI International Inc. will help the Defense Department comptroller address systems requirements under a new contract valued at $34 million.

The prime contract calls for CACI to support the mission, processes and systems requirements of DOD’s Office of the Undersecretary of Defense (Comptroller), according to the contractor’s announcement.

CACI’s work for that office will involve a wide range of critically important responsibilities, the company said.

Using a standards-based approach tailored to the comptroller’s unique requirements, the CACI team will integrate business processes to support the organization’s evolving mission requirements, the company said.

The work will include a range of tasks, such as network administration, database support, on-site configuration management, help desk management, hardware maintenance and information assurance.

The task order runs for four and one-half years, including one base period and four option years, and was awarded under the Encore II contract vehicle.

The contractor said the award continues a 19-year history of support for planning, programming, budgeting and execution solutions and IT services for maintaining the entire DOD budget.
