No summer doldrums for Citizant’s fed contracts pursuit
Citizant Inc. won new government contracts that combined are worth approximately $42 million over the next five years, the company reported today.
The third quarter of 2010 proved to be a lucrative three months for Citizant Inc.
The company won new government contracts that combined are worth approximately $42 million over the next five years, the company reported today.
The provider of enterprise architecture and business transformation services said the awards will generate $19 million in current task orders and up to $23 million through future sole-source task orders.
The new contracts include:
- An enterprise architecture award from the Housing and Urban Development Department valued at $9.4 million over five years with an additional $7.5 million possible.
- A business process re-engineering and application development contract from the Justice Department worth $4.5 million over 18 months.
- An application development contract for the Homeland Security Department worth $4.1 million over 18 months, with an additional $15.9 million possible over five years.
- An information assurance award from DHS worth $880,000 over three years.
Executives at the Chantilly, Va., company say they expect to hire more than 30 new employees as a result.
