BAE names new cybersecurity leader

BAE Systems Inc. has named Paul Falkler to lead its Cyber Security Solutions business group. He will report to John Gannon, president of the Intelligence and Security sector.

BAE Systems Inc. has picked Paul Falkler to become the leader of the company's Cyber Security Solutions business group.

Falkler, a cybersecurity expert, will be a vice president and general manager starting Nov. 1, and he will report to John Gannon, president of the Intelligence and Security sector.

Previously, Falkler was a vice president at Science Applications International Corp.’s Intelligence and Information Solutions business unit and was responsible for strategic planning, business development, marketing, cyber campaigns, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before that, he was director of national security programs at Boeing Mission Systems and director of business development at Boeing Space and Intelligence Systems' Mission Systems division.

Falkler also worked at the Defense Department for 15 years in a variety of roles.
