CACI buys cybersecurity products maker SystemWare
CACI International Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire SystemWare Inc., a manufacturer of signals acquisition and analysis systems to detect cybersecurity and physical security vulnerabilities.
CACI International Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire SystemWare Inc., a manufacturer of signals acquisition and analysis systems to detect cybersecurity and physical security vulnerabilities. The financial terms of the acquisition were not reported.
Founded in 1988, SystemWare is located in Camarillo, Calif., near CACI’s Oxnard facility, with East Coast operations at Elkridge, Md., according to a statement by CACI today.
Clients include the Defense Department, the intelligence community, federal civilian agencies, and United States allies.
The company’s solutions include proprietary technologies that combine advanced software and analytical toolsets with customizable hardware configurations to deliver counterintelligence systems, the statement said. More than half of SystemWare employees hold secret-level security clearances or higher.
SystemWare reported $16 million in revenue in calendar year 2009.
The acquisition will expand CACI’s ability to offer comprehensive and integrated solutions for our clients’ most critical missions, Bill Fairl, CACI president of U.S. operations, said in the statement.
Closing is anticipated by Feb. 1, the statement said.
CACI International, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 20 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
