Paradigm Holdings Inc. will provide continuity of operations and emergency management software support for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) under a prime contract with an estimated potential value of $1.3 million.

Under the contract, Paradigm will provide comprehensive support and subject matter expertise for the agency’s emergency management program, including a review of NARA continuity of operations (COOP) and occupant emergency plans, as well as the creation of a NARA pandemic influenza response plan.

The services will support NARA’s integration of OpsPlanner, the COOP and emergency management software tool NARA has used for three years, the company said in a statement today.

OpsPlanner, which is used by all NARA locations nationwide, enhances planning and recovery capabilities by automating many labor-intensive tasks.

The tool also enables NARA to access all plans and associated records following any disaster affecting a NARA facility, and by providing the agency with a mechanism for instant notification of all stakeholders following a disaster or other emergency, the company said.
