ManTech continues tech support at NASA facility

ManTech International Corp. will continue to support NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), having successfully recompeted for the five-year Reliability Engineering Support Services contract, which has a total value of $23.3 million.

The competitively awarded prime contract calls for the company to provide circuit and systems reliability services; modeling, simulation and analysis; dynamics; thermal and structural analysis, and natural space environments.

The company also will provide the flight projects at the JPL with electromagnetic compatibility oversight, problem failure reporting, probability risk assessment, and product and quality assurance.

The JPL, in Pasadena, Calif., is the primary U.S. center for robotic exploration of the solar system, and conducts major programs in space-based Earth sciences and astronomy. JPL spacecraft have visited all of the planets from Mercury to Neptune.

ManTech’s teammates on the JPL contract include Alejo Engineering Inc., Aspen Products Inc., Fettig Research Evaluation Enterprises Inc., Fierheller Engineering Corp., KG Magnetics Inc., Newson Consulting Inc., Maden Technologies, Millennium Engineering Integration Co., MORI Associates Inc. and WestWind Engineering Inc.
