PSI team provides testing support to VA

Find opportunities — and win them.

Planned Systems International Inc. will provide testing support to the Veterans Affairs Department under a five-year award that could be worth almost $70 million if all options are exercised.

The task order from the VA Office of Information and Technology, Office of Enterprise Development calls for the PSI team to support the Testing Service branch of the Software Engineering Office.

PSI, of Falls Church, Va., and its team members, EDS Corp. and Systems Made Simple Inc., will provide capacity planning analysis, independent software verification and validation, testing infrastructure, engineering and operations, services expansion initiative support, and project management support.

The goal is to promote the VA’s mission to improve standardization, software quality and the effectiveness of health care delivery through planned and controlled evaluation, testing, and reporting of test results, PSI officials said.

The task order was awarded under the Military Health System D/SIDDOMS 3 Contract.
