General Dynamics assists Joint Forces Command
General Dynamics Corp. will provide support services to the U.S. Joint Forces Command under a five-year contract with a potential value of $101.9 million.
General Dynamics Corp. has won a five-year contract from the Defense Department to provide support services to the U.S. Joint Forces Command. If all options are exercised, the estimated value of the contract is $101.9 million.
Under terms of the indefinite-quantity contract, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems Inc., of Suffolk, Va., will support the Joint Forces Command with analysis and assessment of command and control capabilities.
This contract includes one base year and four one-year options. Work will be performed at Suffolk and is expected to be completed by June 2010.
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division is the contracting activity.
General Dynamics, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 4 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
