SRA awards General Dynamics $40 million subcontract
General Dynamics will provide information technology services to the U.S. European Command and U.S. Africa Command.
General Dynamics Information Technology will provide information technology services to the U.S. European Command and U.S. Africa Command under a new, $40 million subcontract awarded by SRA International Inc.
Through the European Command and Africa Command Information Technology Support program, General Dynamics will provide a range of enterprise information technology services including program management, systems engineering, systems security, configuration management, training and maintenance.
General Dynamics will provide enterprise communications and information technology services to both U.S. EUCOM and U.S. AFRICOM to support their missions, said Tom Kirchmaier, senior vice president of General Dynamics Information Technology’s Intelligence Solutions Division.
General Dynamics IT is a unit of General Dynamics Corp., of Falls Church, Va. The parent company ranks No. 6 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors. SRA International Inc. ranks No. 32.
