Vision Technologies wins Customs network deal
Vision Technologies Inc. will provide the Customs and Border Protection agency with information technology support services under a new ontract.
Vision Technologies Inc. will provide the Customs and Border Protection agency with information technology support services under a five-year, $13.9 million contract.
Under the agreement, Vision Technologies will furnish network design services and IT infrastructure support to CBP's Office of Information Technology, company officials said. Specifically, the company will support an agency architecture team in its effort to design network architecture capable of meeting the evolving application demands of new technologies and growing business processes, they said.
Vision Technologies' partners on the project are ExecuTech Strategic Consulting, of Woodbridge, Va., and Excedo Solutions LLC, of Fredricksburg, Va.
Vision Technologies, Glen Burnie, Md., supplies technology services support to the public and private sectors.
