GTRI buys Anyware Network Solutions
Global Technology Resources acquires wireless integration company Anyware Network Solutions.
Global Technology Resources Inc. will expand its wireless network services to government and commercial customers with the acquisition of wireless integration company Anyware Network Solutions Inc. Financial terms were not announced.
GTRI will use the acquired expertise to bolster its existing wireless networking business and expand its enterprise and customer base nationally, company officials said. ANS focuses on building wireless local-area networks, wide-area networks and wireless broadband solutions.
With the acquisition of ANS, GTRI will be able to provide enhanced consulting services, including network design, project management, radio frequency engineering, configuration, installation, training, maintenance and support.
With the acquisition, GTRI is in position to reach double-digit growth because of ANS' strong government customer base, a company spokeswoman said.
ANS' federal clients include the Army Corp of Engineers, Air Force and Veterans Affairs Department.
GTRI is a certified 8(a) small-business and Historically Underutilized Business Zone-certified company. It has partnered with Lockheed Martin Corp., Northrop Grumman Corp., Raytheon Co. and other large government contractors.
