SI to bolster NSA acquisition programs

SI International Inc. has won three Enterprise Program Management II contracts to help the National Security Agency upgrade its acquisitions management services. The three awards have a potential value of more than $300 million.

The EPM II program was established to support NSA's acquisition organization. EPM II provides the contract vehicles by which the Fort Meade, Md., intelligence agency can obtain acquisition support for its program executive offices, the company said.

Under the single-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, SI International will assist NSA's agencywide program to modernize its information technology, systems and programs.

Major subcontractors on the SI International EPM II Team include Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. and Lockheed Martin Corp.

The prime contracts have a five-year performance period worth more than $131 million with an expansion possibility that could add an additional $200 million.

SI International, of Reston, Va., ranks No. 42 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
