Tyler Technologies Inc. will provide its Odyssey software to manage cases for trial courts in the state of New Mexico.

Tyler Technologies Inc. will provide its Odyssey software to manage cases for trial courts in the state of New Mexico through a $6 million contract.

The company will also aid the state in deploying the system and training its employees to use it.

The New Mexico Administration Office of the Courts awarded the contract.

The state courts covered under the contract are the New Mexico Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, district courts, magistrate courts and Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court. The company said it plans to roll out the software in 10 pilots during 2008.

State officials purchased the software and services in an effort to improve the accuracy and reliability of information used by the courts and to help bridge the gap between the central state financial system and the Judiciary's financial and accounting systems, the company said.

Tyler also has implemented its Odyssey software statewide in Indiana, Minnesota and New Hampshire.

The Dallas-based company supplies information management software and services to state and local governments.
