An airborne system from Logos Technologies Inc.orbited above a robotic vehicle event while imagingand recording the entire area twice per second at1-foot resolution.The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agencyproject supported the Urban Challenge robotic-vehiclecompetition in Victorville, Calif.Five terabytes of data were recorded with enoughfidelity to continuously monitor vehicles at the event.A high-bandwidth data link with the aircraft providedreal-time control of 15 independently locatableimage streams.
