Energetics to help DHS with infrastructure protection

Energetics Inc. has won three contracts, potentially worth a total of $21.8 million, to support the Homeland Security Department.

Under a five-year, $11.8 million contract, Energetics will provide technical, management and program support to the Office of Infrastructure Protection, Partnership and Outreach Division.

The company will conduct research and analysis, develop requirements and provide implementation strategies for the National Infrastructure Protection Plan. It also will develop studies that support public-private partnerships and information sharing.

Energetics also won two subcontracts to support the DHS Office of Infrastructure Protection as a member of a team led by Fairfax-based SRA International Inc.

Under one subcontract, Energetics will provide program and technical support to the Sector Specific Agency Executive Management Office. The other calls for the company to provide analytical, statistical and metrics support for the NIPP Program Management Office. Both subcontracts have a five-year span if all options are exercised, and a combined potential value of $10 million.

Energetics, based in Columbia, Md., is a multidisciplinary consulting company that provides a broad range of technical and management support services. It is a subsidiary of Alexandria, Va.-based VSE Corp.
