New Hampshire's electronic toll collection system that dramatically reduces traffic congestion and air pollution will continue to be supported by Affiliated Computer Services Inc.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation awarded a $14.2 million extension of the E-ZPass electronic toll collection contract with Dallas-based ACS. ACS will continue to operate the E-ZPass toll collection customer service center.

ACS operates three walk-in service centers across the state enabling citizens to enroll and maintain participation in the prepaid electronic toll collection system.

The New Hampshire E-ZPass program has 195,000 account holders with 335,000 E-ZPass transponders logging 64 million electronic toll transactions annually. The service center handles 290,000 phone calls and 70,000 walk-in customers each year.

Dallas-based ACS ranks No. 58 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
