Raytheon closes Oakley buy
Raytheon Co. has completed its purchase of Oakley Networks Inc., a provider of cybersecurity and data leakage prevention systems.

The acquisition, which was announced last month, is intended to enhance Raytheon's information security capabilities, Raytheon said. As such, the purchase creates a strong synergy between Raytheon's software systems expertise and Oakley's enterprise monitoring solutions.
Oakley Networks of Salt Lake City will now operate as Raytheon Oakley Systems Inc., and will be part of Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems in Garland, Texas.
Raytheon of Waltham, Mass., ranks No. 6 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
