QinetiQ North America will assist the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command with its mission of supporting command and control capabilities under a new five-year, $24 million task order.
QinetiQ will provide the SPAWAR Office of the Chief Engineer with systems engineering technical review process execution, technical studies and acquisition technical documentation drafting.
The McLean, Va.-based company's Mission Solutions Group will support the office's enterprise information systems and space systems, and the office's mission of maintaining superior information.
SPAWAR's charter is to develop and support integrated and interoperable command, control, computers, communication, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; business information technology; and space capabilities.
In addition to systems engineering, the command also offers acquisition management, information assurance, engineering and logistics, research and development, and support operations.
