DRC wins Eagle consulting services job

Dynamics Research Corp. has won an $11.4 million task order from the Homeland Security Department to provide consulting services on capital planning, investment control and earned value management to the Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Under the terms of the deal, DRC and subcontractor Fujitsu Consulting will provide the CIO's office with best practices in technology, scheduling, cost and performance and a systematic approach to IT investments.

DRC also will provide training in the Capital Planning and Investment Control and Earned Value Management System processes, as well as the Office of Management and Budget Exhibit 300 reporting.

The task order was awarded under the management services category of the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge solutions acquisition vehicle commonly referred to as Eagle. It has a two-month base period and five one-year options.

"Our role on Eagle provides us with an exceptional opportunity to help DHS agencies achieve interoperability, standardization and compliance," said James P. Regan, DRC's chairman. "Under this task order, we will provide CPIC and EVMS services to further DHS' strategic vision of becoming a high-performance IT organization."
