ProSource to aid GSA property management
ProSource Consulting LLC has begun providing Spatial Data Management services to GSA under an contract with a potential value of $4.2 million.
ProSource Consulting LLC has begun providing Spatial Data Management services to the General Services Administration.
The GSA originally awarded a blanket purchase agreement to the Haymarket, Va.-based 8(a) company in July, but has just issued the first task order. The potential total value of the BPA is $4.2 million.
Under the first task order, valued at $237,000, ProSource will provide the services to GSA's Public Building Service. The services help GSA in its efforts to create, update and maintain information about the 350 million square feet of building space it owns across the country and in six U.S. territories.
GSA's PBS rents buildings to federal agencies, and has almost 9,000 separate buildings to manage. By improving the accuracy of inventory information, GSA can more effectively make appropriate management decisions.
ProSource's team collectively has more than 50 years of experience in architectural and engineering design and management, said Donna Cooper, the company's chief executive officer.
