ACS names Kyser CFO

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. promoted Kevin Kyser, a financial executive who has worked for the company for the past decade, to chief financial officer.

In his new position, Kyser will head ACS' finance organization, which includes corporate controllership, treasury, tax and investor relations. It also encompasses audit, finance operations and strategic planning and analysis functions.

Kyser most recently was the company's executive vice president of finance and accounting. Since joining the company in 1997, Kyser has served as corporate controller, CFO of the company's commercial solutions group and has directed the company's investor relations group.

John Rexford, who has served as the company's CFO since November 2006, will continue as an executive vice president with a focus on key corporate development initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions.

Both appointments are effective immediately. The executives will report to ACS chief executive officer Lynn Blodgett.

ACS ranks No. 58 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
