Transportation Command awards multiple IT contracts
The United States Transportation Command has picked 10 companies for a multiple-award IT services contract. The five-year contract could be worth up to $250 million.
The United States Transportation Command, an agency within the Defense Department, has picked 10 companies for a multiple-award information technology services contract. The five-year contract could be worth up to $250 million for the contractors.
The contracts, awarded in June, include four to small businesses.
The large-company awardees are: Unisys Corp.; Systems Research and Application Corp. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems; IBM Corp.; Computer Sciences Corp.; and CACI Premier Technologies.
The small business winners are S4 Inc.; Paragon Technology Group; Complete Professional Services; and Asynchrony Solutions Inc.
"It's good to see a large military organization acknowledging the unique value of small business," said Stephanie Greytak, director of sales at Asynchrony.
