Winds of change blow through Texas

Find opportunities — and win them.

A state agency and a company that does business with state governments have new leaders.

The Texas Board of Information Resources named Brian Rawson the state's new chief technology officer and executive director of its Information Resources Department.
Rawson had been interim CTO since Larry Olson resigned from the position in December 2006.

Thomas Burlin was named chief operating officer and executive vice president of Affiliated Computer Services Inc. of Dallas. The COO position had been vacant since last year when Lynn Blodgett was promoted to ACS president and chief executive officer.

Burlin had been COO and executive vice president of the company's government group since 2005.
