Northrop Grumman wins DOD infrastructure work

Northrop Grumman will provide technology services to the OSD through a $9.7 million task order awarded to the company under the Encore I contract.

Northrop Grumman Corp. will provide technology services to the Office of the Secretary of Defense through a $9.7 million task order awarded to the company under the Encore I contract.

Under the task order, Northrop Grumman's Information Technology sector of McLean, Va., will help maintain a secure and accessible IT operating environment for the OSD.

The Northrop Grumman unit will provide logistics support, help desk services, server administration, network and security engineering and application program support to the agency. The unit will perform the work in Arlington, Va.

Northrop Grumman's teammates on the task order are EyeIT.com, Alexandria, Va.; Mountain Valley, Inc., Dayton, Md.; Netservices, LLC, Centreville, Va.; Quality Systems Management, Inc., Annandale, Va.; and SYS Technologies, San Diego, Calif.

Northrop Grumman was one of eight companies awarded the Encore I indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract in March 2002 by the Defense Information Systems Agency.
