Justice calls on GTSI for hardware standardization

GTSI Corp. will supply workstation, desktop and laptop solutions that promote standardization and interoperability at the Justice Department's various offices, bureaus and divisions through a three-year, $42 million contract.

Under a blanket purchase agreement, GTSI of Chantilly, Va., will furnish solutions and services, including imaging and integration, custom warranty and call support, asset management and reports, warehousing and managed logistics.

Among the solutions and services the company will provide are imaging and integration, custom warranty and call support, asset management and reports, warehousing and managed logistics. GTSI was the sole award winner of the contract.

The Justice Management Division, which is responsible for standardizing the department's IT infrastructure, awarded the contract to GTSI.

The company is teamed with Hewlett-Packard Co., Palo Alto, Calif., and Prism Pointe Technologies, Ridgeland, Miss., an IT services company. HP will serve as the primary hardware supplier on the deal.

GTSI ranks No. 27 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
