General Dynamics Corp. has been awarded a $23 million contract from the IRS to provide the agency with systems support for the Software Development Life Cycle project for its tax administration applications.
General Dynamics will provide support such as individual programming activities and project management efforts. The contract duration is five years and has a value of $23 million if the IRS exercises all options.
The vendor and team member Sentel Corp., which provides support and maintenance to the IRS' Report Generation Software system, will support the Software Development Life Cycle project at Sentel offices in Dallas.
