BearingPoint to help steer NMCI into safe berth
BearingPoint Inc. won a contract to supply the Navy with IT services as part of its continuing transition to the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet.
BearingPoint Inc. won a one-year, $5.9 million contract to supply the Navy with IT services as part of its continuing transition to the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet.
Under the contract, BearingPoint of McLean, Va., will support the Naval Network Warfare Command and U.S. Fleet Forces Command. The company will perform the work in Hampton Roads, Va.
BearingPoint will furnish support in areas where major fleets are concentrated throughout the continental United States. The company's work will encompass several areas, including transition and technology refresh support, legacy network and application lifecycle support and IT portfolio management services.
BearingPoint has 17,000 employees and ranks No. 23 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
