Data Systems Analysts Inc. won a $30 million contract to support knowledge management efforts in the Army's Program Executive Office (PEO) for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical.

DSA's services under the four-year contract include project management, content management, administrative and technical support, operations, maintenance and application development.

DSA of Philadelphia also will support Army organizations that are part of the Army Acquisition Knowledge Center consortium. These include PEO Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors; Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command; and the Communications and Electronic Research & Development Command.

The center uses Web-based technologies and re-engineered its processes to increase access to information, foster collaboration and improve efficiencies. The Knowledge Center has about 20,000 registered users.

DSA has been providing support to the knowledge management efforts since 1997.

"The DSA Team has created and supported the Knowledge Center since its inception as a pilot for demonstrating knowledge management and public key infrastructure technology, said Kathleen Kirk, DSA's program manager for the contract.
