CACI wins new Army S3 work

CACI International Inc. keeps adding to its tally of task orders under the Strategic Services Sourcing contract. The company won three new task orders under S3 with the Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command.

CACI won the S3 contract in March. The new task orders are worth about $50 million, the company said. CACI is one of seven prime contractors on the S3 program, which has a total estimated ceiling of $19.25 billion.

One task order is for $38 million to support the Army Project Manager, Battle Command, to manage Army Battle Command Systems. An estimated $9.5 million task order was awarded for the Product Manager, Robotic and Unmanned Sensors. And a final award worth about $2.7 million to support the Project Manager, Aerial Common Sensor was awarded.

So far CACI has won more than an estimated $133.5 million in S3 task orders.

CACI, which has about 10,100 employees and had fiscal 2005 revenue of $1.6 billion,
ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
